I am Maurizio D'Andrea, a painter who has dedicated my art to exploring the abstract world of symbols and the profound influence of Carl Gustav Jung's thinking in my work. My painting is not merely a mix of abstract shapes and colors, but a vivid and meaningful representation of universal and symbolic concepts that mirror the thoughts of this great Swiss psychoanalyst.
My artistic work goes beyond the surface of brushstrokes and shades of color. It is based on an intimate understanding of the universal archetypes that Jung emphasized so much. Archetypes are profound symbolic representations residing in the collective unconscious, and through painting, I seek to explore and interpret them expressively.
Jungian symbolism is the beating heart of my work. I use symbols as vehicles to delve into the unconscious and the deep connections between humanity and the universe. My paintings become a journey into the human soul, allowing viewers to explore and better understand the hidden mysteries of the human psyche.
In my paintings, symbols recur, drawing attention to the collective unconscious and its mysteries. These symbols take on different forms, yet they are uniquely interpreted by each observer, as every individual can perceive their essence personally, based on their own experiences and understandings.
In conclusion, my artistic journey is driven by a passion to explore the collective unconscious and its symbols, as taught by Jung. Through painting, I seek to capture the essence of the human psyche, offering viewers the opportunity to delve into a journey through the depths of the human mind and consciousness. I hope that my art can inspire and provoke reflection, opening doors to a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
